Global Petroleum Show 2014

June 16, 2014 by Evan Leave a Comment

GPS10 wordmark LogoThis year signalled a change at the Global Petroleum Show in Calgary.  From now on it will be happening every year, instead of every two.  The show which includes the SPE Heavy Oil Conference continues to expand at Stampede Park and shows signs of getting even bigger.  Extra space was added for the event, which ran from June 10-12th.

It was needed to accommodate more than 2000 exhibitors and  60,000 plus attendees.  It’s too the point where a plan of attack (and comfortable shoes) is needed to ensure visitors see everything they are interested in.

iKan Media was at the event all three days.  We interviewed people who brought their innovations to the show, chatted with presenters and met people from around the world who were here to discuss the issues facing the oil industry.
