Corporate social responsibility, a catch phrase or something meaningful?

For the most part people in the oil industry are well aware of what corporate social responsibility means.  And that meaning is a little different depending on who you work for. What is becoming clear with mounting opposition against fossil fuels is a companies interaction with the community is perhaps more important than ever.

The topic was tackled at the Oil & Gas Awards Industry Summit in Calgary.  iKan Media interviewed two panelists – Fred Hutchings, a Senior VP with Maxxam Analytics and Thomas Miller who is the VP of Comm. for Breitling Energy. After checking their comments you can see the panel discussion as well.
